To be fair if you read the whole back story. He was concerned about one of his marine doing drugs and had gone AWOL. He would randomly show up and knock on the door to try to get his marine help. It had been quite sometime so he asked a neighbor to open the door who complied. The Marine had set up a recording and was staying at another place because he didn't want to get caught. This wasn't about abuse it was more about care but going about it the wrong way. The Marine then took the footage and filed complaints to Government officials the police. Since he was staying off base he was not permitted to enter the home and needed to get a warrant from the police and get the MPs involved. The Marine was a useless turd this guy did overreach since the military has become softer on these types of situations.
