Dr @AvaADelu debating on the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse. We’re also fortunate to have @KKseattle as our keynote speaker at #AZUS

@JasonJamesonMD @AZurological @ArizonaMedicine We had much to celebrate at the ArMA event given the recent passage of HB 2025. Many thanks to Jason and our allies in ArMA for helping to get this legislation across the finish line. On behalf of AZUS and all Arizona urology practices, thank you!

Many thanks to the @UAUrology O.R. team and to Chad Harrison from Intuitive for coming early and making all the preparations for the very first case using the DV5 robotic platform at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. Proud to continue advancing our robotics program.

@RealJamesWoods Amen, from one Rhode Islander to another. They poked fun at us for crooked politicians and back room deals, but you know what, when there was fire they put it out, when there were thieves, they put 'em in jail. The basics of being mayor is keeping your peeps safe.

@CaseySeidemanMD Totally. It's visceral. Type A's cant stop it. Ways to cope: I fly American and buy ticket with AA credit card =guaranteed Group 5 boarding. Southwest: tell yourself "as long as you are Group A or first half of B you get an aisle or window seat."

Does anyone else have extreme anxiety surrounding the airplane boarding process? Regardless of group number- I get tachycardic.

Congrats to Deb Jur on her retirement and many thanks to Felicia Goraj on her years of excellent service. I could not have asked for a better pair of NPs completely dedicated to patient care. I am so grateful to have had you both on my journey and wish you the very best!

I use this bad boy maybe once or twice a year. Always takes a while to find it in SPD. Any of the residents or young faculty in here know what it is and what I might be using it for? Any one else still keep one of these dinosaurs around?

@jfunkmd @jointdocShields It is a difficult hobby. To eliminate the star trails, you need good SLR w manual mode set on a motor drive to correct earth's rotation set on tripod/mount with good polar alignment. Oh and lots and lots of patience...

@jfunkmd @Brian_J_Flynn I see a very low left common iliac vien a couple times per year. Options are to go lower on the sacrum / down onto S1, change angle and reduce number of sacral sutures, or find alternate fixation site (SSL or pectineal ligament). Sorry about the hernia-it's a bummer!

@Brian_J_Flynn @CTwissMD and I both have seen L common over promontory. Awareness is key! Also have seen right ureter 3cm below cuff on anterior vaginal wall. Nice catch and avoidance of the “oops” moment!

Happy Friday 12 yrs/300+ robotic sacrocolpopexies - first time I encountered a massive venous structure covering the promontory. I'm glad I did not throw a stitch into the left internal Iliac or cava? Had to do a ULS. 2 days later same patient returned with hernia at 8mm trocar
