Trump *gained* voters in almost every district compared to his total in 2016, but somehow there were 15 million voters who didn’t care enough to vote for Hillary in 2016 but came out of the woodwork for Biden in 2020… Sorry, but that is simply stupid.

The idea that Trump was unpopular is one of the stupidest ideas to come out of the election. Did he have some people who hated him more intensely than any President in history? Yes, and if that’s what you mean by unpopular, fine. But he got the most votes by any incumbent President in history by a wide margin, and massively increased his total support from 2016, despite an unprecedented full-spectrum hate campaign, censorship, threats of mass violence, and subversion by his own law enforcement and intelligence agencies. If Trump 2020 would’ve run against Hillary 2016, he’d have beaten her by 10 million votes. If he’d have run against Obama’s historic 2008 campaign, he’d have won by 5 million votes. People on the right like to say his failure to enact much of his agenda gave him more black and Latino votes at the expense of losing his white male base, but that’s nonsense. Trump vastly increased his total number of white male voters from 2016. He got a lower percentage of those voters, but that’s only because the fortified election made Biden the most popular Presidential candidate in American history (he’d have beaten Obama’s 2008 result by 12 MILLION votes!). I drove from LA to San Diego the weekend before the election. There was an unbroken line of Trump-decorated cars and trucks in the right lane from Long Beach all the way to downtown SD. Every single overpass was a packed Trump block party. In Southern California! The idea that he was unpopular is simply false, but people on the left and right peddle it for their own reasons. Supporters of other GOP candidates say it because they think it helps them, far-right people say it because they think they’re proving a point about Trump not rounding up and executing all the illegals. The left just says it because Orange Man Bad. Everyone willing to take an honest look at how the 2020 election was conducted knows it was corrupt. When has the FBI ever colluded with media corporations to censor a major newspaper for reporting what they knew to be true information? Why was COVID an excuse for Democrat governors to lower signature matching standards and other security protocols for mail-in ballots? Who remembers another election where the count was called off without explanation in the middle of the night, except they lied and kept counting, and when you woke up the results were dramatically reversed? Give me a break. There are a million reasons to criticize Trump. He took bad advice, hired bad people, was petty and disloyal to good people who followed him, he blinked every time the regime gave an ultimatum, and worst of all he failed to speak up for participants in the Jan 6 electoral justice protest. But he was not unpopular, but was in fact objectively, historically popular, and lost because of an obviously corrupt election. If supporters of RDS & others don’t understand this, and why it makes it impossible for Trump supporters to abandon him now, I don’t know what to tell you.

BREAKING: President Biden makes a stunning announcement that his administration will forgive $39 billion in student debt for 804,000 borrowers. This historic relief will be provided on income-driven repayment plans, in which the federal government cancels borrowers' outstanding balances after they have made their payments for 20 or 25 years. In the past, there were cracks in this system that meant some payments that should have moved borrowers towards being debt-free were not properly accounted for. This move aims to fix that issue. MAGA world is furious because they thought that the Republican-controlled Supreme Court's ruling to block Biden's original debt forgiveness plan was the end of the story. But Biden doesn't give up so easily. Biden's Education Department will notify eligible borrowers in the coming days. It cannot be stressed enough what a big deal this is. The lives of 804,000 hard-working Americans are about to be substantially improved. Bidenomics is all about growing the middle class rather than shoveling tax cuts to the rich.
