Term 1 sees us start our newest extracurricular clubs!

Last night a number of our year 10 students attended the @PennineSSP awards evening at Huddersfield town hall. It was brilliant to celebrate so much success in PE at school and sport outside of school.

What an amazing night of talent on show @ColneValleyHigh! Our Summer Festival was buzzing! We are very proud of every person that took to the stage to provide a great night of entertainment.

After a tough start to the school cricket season last week against a strong Honley side, our u13s found their first victory tonight against Salendine Nook. Let’s hope we can keep this up!👍🏻🏅🏏

Since we’ve returned to school we have had 2 basketball games. Yesterday the boys played against Holmfirth and unfortunately lost 52-12 however tonight we saw success against Royds Hall winning 28-15. Well done to the boys for their perseverance and teamwork🏀🎉🏅

Along with our late return from Christmas break we have our updated extra-curricular timetable. Please be aware these may not be starting this week due to snow/ice on the 4G pitch. We will keep you updated👍🏻⚽️🏀🏐🏉

A huge well done to our year 10 girls who have progressed to the final of the Yorkshire cup today after beating an extremely strong Rastrick side. A goal from Bella and 2 from Lizzy means we walked away with a 3-2 victory. Well done girls!🎉👏🏻

An excellent 2 results this week for the girls football teams. Year 8 girls advanced to the semi final of the Yorkshire cup after winning 6-0 last night and our year 10 girls also advanced to the semi final of the Yorkshire cup after winning 7-0 on Monday⚽️🏅👏🏻

Both the year 8 girls football match tonight and the tournament tomorrow have had to be postponed to a later date.

We are all set up and ready to welcome potential 2025/26 students down at the sports department👍🏻

2 big congratulations today. Well done to the year 7 boys who beat Moorend 7-0 a brilliant performance. And a huge well done to the year 10 girls who played with 9 players against Ryburns 11 in the Yorkshire Cup and came out on top through penalties ⚽️🏅🎉 #teamwork #resilience

Brilliant turn out for the year 8 boys football and the year 7 & 8 girls football with over 50 girls turning up and 20+ boys after having a school match last night. 🏅⚽️

Well done to our year 9 girls football team who played their socks off tonight and beat Brooksbank 3-0 I the first round of the Yorkshire Cup. Keep it up #teamwork🏅🎉👏🏻

And with that comes an end to our annual sports day and what a day it’s been. A massive well done to the students who took part and conducted themselves wonderfully and well done to my PE department team who made sure the event ran like clockwork #teamwork
