Last week, 3rd graders @GatorsConnect learned the differences between their community and their Canadian friends @EmpaticoOrg. The best came when the Canadian students said it was 6 degrees...our Ss "what!?!"...celsius..."what is celsius?" building curiosity💡@CVSocialStudies

It’s great to see how teachers are leveraging technology to support their students. This teaching team at the HS is using Pear Deck and Zoom to provide a review opportunity for their students.

Got to spend part of the afternoon with these 5th graders who are doing some pretty cool things with @WeVideo !

Had an absolute blast today working with these 5th graders to create some pixel art math using conditional formatting.

Just had the absolute privilege of watching the 3rd graders at GR meet with a class in British Columbia through @EmpaticoOrg. @MrBiggsCV was an amazing facilitator. Students got to meet their new buddy class and learn about daily life.

Spent time with Mrs. Eyster's 5th-grade students, helping them prep their @WeVideo news reports. They really loved the project and were amazingly prepared to put it together. Hitting all 4 C's!

Working with some 1st-grade friends, learning some creative uses with @padlet. These friends did an amazing job, and they learned it so fast!! Through @Zoom no less! Thanks for letting us be a part of this cool learning activity Mrs. Rodriguez. @CVSDnews

Had a blast working with 2nd grade to measure objects and make a PicCollage to share with the class!

So excited to work with @MrBiggsCV and @EmpaticoOrg to connect these 3rd graders with another class around the world!
