@ashleyscastro It's a different country and tax system, but after 3 yr BSc, 2 yr MSc, 3 yr PhD, 8 yrs postdoc I have made it to a lecturer position at 25£ per hour before tax in the UK - that is assuming I don't work unpaid extra hours. I am one of the lucky few.
