Zed Williams scored 74 goals for the Silver Creek Black Knights… As an eighth grader.
He is a testament of the power of growing up in a family of older brothers who have no problem pounding on you all day long.
His high school coach Bill Brennan pretty much said all that needs to be said… “That boy was born to play lacrosse.”
Brennan, of Mohawk descent, finishes the article by saying, “I don’t want pride to get into him. Pride is a weakness. My prayers for him are that he works hard and is thankful for what he has. He does that, and I think the sky’s the limit, and he’ll be playing lacrosse for an awfully long time.”
Looking back from a 2025 perspective his high school coach should be feeling good.
