Chaos duology vn purists really want me to spend 100 hours+ reading visual novels with terrible pacing and boring, ugly, and outdated 2d sprites on a screen. I would prefer to watch the anime which has much better pacing and gets all the same information across.

Honestly, most of the steam pages for SciAdv games aren't very good. But chaos;child's is so fucking bad. How do they pick an image that spoils like the entire plot up to chapter 9 as one of the previews. It's not like there weren't other pics of the map to use!

People like these are the greatest argument for free higher education. Because getting all your knowledge about media analysis from youtube essays about Star Wars will make you think that worldbuilding and powerscaling are "fundamental writing mechanics".
