You people (and god forgive me for suggesting this) REALLY need to rewatch the Twilight films if you genuinely believe this lmao. Those movies are closer to The Room than they are to any visual novel.

Deadlock just got new Ranked and Unranked gamemodes!
The Ranked mode has been completely overhauled. The new season starts with everyone in calibration, seeded from unranked or the last season. The highest rank you reach during the season becomes your seasonal rank. The ranks are: Brick, Stone, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Phantom, Ascendant, Eternus. Each rank is split into six subranks.
Ranked is available only for Solo or Duo parties. Duo players must be within one rank from each other.
It uses the standard 250-point win/loss system, with some variance if the matchmaker detects a favored side. After you gain a subrank, you earn Demotion Protection points, and you can't lose a subrank unless you start the match with 0 points in that subrank.
The rules change slightly at the highest rank (Eternus). Eternus players can only queue with another Eternus player. You still gain or lose rank points, but the subranks are no longer fixed. Instead, subranks are assigned every few hours according to the percentiles of players within the Eternus rank.
