Great undercover reporting by @DeclassifiedUK showing that a British registered charity UK Toremet may be passing money to settler groups in occupied Palestine in breach of charity law.
The full video report is below.
Here is their summary.
An Israeli organisation has been caught on camera offering to help British citizens move to an illegal settlement in the West Bank. Declassified can reveal how the group, Shivat Zion, told supporters it could benefit from UK tax subsidies – despite staff bragging about “awesome” settlements. An undercover investigation saw the group’s “encouragement” officer discussing the support it would give settlers moving to Efrat, in the West Bank. “You’re next to the Arabs; you’ll hear their mosques,” he was recorded saying. “But apart from this, it’s a great living standard.”
The comments were made during a Zoom call with a Jewish anti-Zionist activist, who asked Declassified to secretly film the conversation. In February, the UK government promised to take “concrete steps in accordance with international law to counter settlement expansion”. Foreign minister Hamish Falconer said: “Israel’s illegal settlements and decisions designed to further them are a flagrant violation of international law”.
But Declassified can reveal how Shivat Zion invited supporters to claim UK Gift Aid when making donations. Despite being registered in Israel, it directed donations to a separate charity called UK Toremet Ltd, based near London. In an email seen by Declassified, a representative from Shivat Zion claimed that donations “go through” the UK Toremet charity, explaining that this “ensures the donations properly reach Shivat Zion”. If money were to be received this way, it could mean that support for illegal settlers could potentially benefit from British tax subsidies.

From @DefendOurJuries
Some extremely worrying news has been leaked in relation to the Filton 24 re-trial that began today. This information was reported against court restrictions by a brave journalist at The Grayzone because clearly it is in the public interest. All of the mainstream press has so far chosen to cooperate with the court order against reporting these facts.
We have decided to share this publicly. (Be aware that doing so yourself could put you at legal risk).
Six Palestine Action activists face a retrial after being acquitted in February following over a year in prison. If convicted, these six, as well as 18 others, will likely be sentenced as terrorists, facing long prison terms. But the court will not be telling jurors of this fact about sentencing.
This means that the jurors could reach “guilty” verdicts on the charge of “criminal damage”, totally unaware that these brave young people would be sentenced as terrorists. All this despite not a single terrorism charge being brought against the defendants AND the High Court ruling that Palestine Action was unlawfully proscribed.
Activists have also been banned from telling jurors how their efforts sought to impede the Gaza genocide, under threat of contempt of court charges. Jurors deserve to hear the whole truth.

If you think members in Scotland only left because of the elections - which they voted to stand in by the way - you have bigger problems than I thought.

UK media is forbidden from reporting these shocking facts:
Palestine Action is being deceptively tried for “terrorism,” with jurors being told it’s a mere criminal trial
PA’s lawyer faces contempt of court for mounting an effective defense
The British state is so desperate to crush these antiwar activists and preserve Israeli death factories on its soil that it is resorting to crude anti-democratic tactics and corrupting the entire jury system

EXCLUSIVE: UK seeks to jail Palestine Action for ‘terrorism’ amid UK media blackout 6 activists could be sentenced as terrorists, facing long prison terms But the jury has not been notified about the 'terror' designation, and UK media can't report on it thegrayzone.com/2026/04/12/uk-…

@thisisyourparty - Squandering a Generational Opportunity
Democratic Socialists of Your Party express our dismay at the decision of the Central Executive Committee to impose bans on socialist organisations and to introduce rules restricting members from organising politically.

Your Party has announced in an email to members a decision on dual membership taken by its Central Executive Committee on Sunday: "that members of other national political parties that do not align with [its] core values of openness are ineligible for membership of Your Party. This includes parties that maintain strict internal discipline and binding lines that are incompatible with transparency and accountability within Your Party."
Details of this and other CEC decisions will be reported soon. Members who would like the opportunity to discuss the implications of the latest developments are invited to an online meeting on Friday April 17.

@TPleicester @jeremycorbyn They’ll kill the national party too unless there’s a fundamental change of direction. It’ll slowly die as the party-movement which should have been the instrument for societal change that’s desperately needed. So unnecessary!

Sad but both understandable and inevitable. Solidarity to Comrades in Scotland. Well done @jeremycorbyn and the rest of TM on killing the Scottish YP.
