@C_Fitz_ Fermanagh has a schools’ bus service rather than a public service meeting locals needs. Currently there are no services on weekdays after 6pm or on Sunday This means on Bank Holiday weekends there’s no public transport for 2 days. If you don’t drive you’re stuck

This makes me want to scream. Currently carrying out research with young people who are NEET. A persistent issue is TRANSPORT particularly in rural areas. Now there is going to be a removal of fare discounts for young people.

‘He said they were considering a reduction in evening services that tend to be ‘lighter used’ and a removal of fare discounts for young people and families.’ The fare discount for older people will not be on the chopping block as it exists in law & MLAs would have to remove it.

There is 1/5 children in relative poverty After Housing Costs - this is unacceptable.

It was also worrying that the Minister suggested poverty levels in NI have decreased. This is not the case - the measurement of poverty has changed. You can not make a comparison between last years figures and this years figures - even if it looks less. This is superficial.
