3 UCP legislature committee members forced a vote through to deny me, the proponent of #ForeverAlberta petition, Alberta’s largest ever petition, to appear before the committee and speak on behalf of the nearly 500,000 Albertans. This is another move to assist the separatists.

Since January, this government has attempted to exert political pressure on the independent Boundaries Commission to create maps that would dilute the voices of voters living in cities. Lethbridge and Red Deer would be carved up and distributed to ridings in the surrounding rural areas. Calgary would become unrecognizable.  All of these changes are deliberately designed to increase the UCP's seat count.  It is cheating, pure and simple. /4

Had a very frustrating meeting with Children’s Services yesterday. The front-line team is outstanding. Fully engaged and doing everything they can. The failure is systemic. I’m working with a youth with significant organic issues, who is reporting procurement, sexual assault, physical and verbal violence and is warehoused in an adult shelter. CS is her legal guardian and stated that they have no safe housing for her at this time. This is unacceptable. Without immediate placement, I am very worried she will be seriously harmed or die. @SearleTurton, You own this! In my opinion, the lack of real placement resources and policy failures are putting kids at risk. #abpoli #ableg
