@C_S_W____ I wasn't talking about you, I was speaking generally. If someone says that a format is bad when it loses, and a good format when it wins, I don't think that's someone whose opinion matters. I'm talking just about gameplay here, premodern has a lot of other good things.

Now that we have leagues and Challenges, the more I play Premodern, the more convinced I am that it's one of the worst formats I've ever played in my life (not as bad as Vintage but a clear second place). Why is there so much hype? Is it just nostalgia?

@RuloMTG @SnailArg Premodern is an amazing format for me, Im less result oriented so a great tournament has nothing to do with me performance in that event.

@C_S_W____ @SnailArg "Great tournament" is a broad term; it simply means it was a tournament with many rounds, well organized and that I achieved a good result. The gameplay of the format has been terrible since day one, as I mentioned in another comment.

@SnailArg @RuloMTG To me great tournament means he enjoyed playing the event (therefore enjoying the format) unless it means the rounds ended on time.

My thoughts after the RC this weekend: 1. Magic is actually pretty fun and I enjoyed the games I played 2. Having valuable promos is awesome 3. MTG Melee makes participating in tournaments so miserable that it is deterring me from participating in more events

@aceanddeuceMTG @exsnypre If I ask you “why do you think it delays events?” Now it will be the third time so Ill just go ahead and asume theres nothing melee did wrong and you are just mad the rounds were taking longer and you are blaming melee
