My critics of psychoanalysis are parallel but different. There's usually a strong identification of the therapist who chooses a particular school because they had their own experience with it. This leads them to have difficulty evaluating other approaches or even being open. They are also typically part of a community which reinforces this type of large group thinking. It affects patient care often very negatively and also holds back advancement of the field.

DBT seems to be about 50% therapy, 25% hero worship, and 25% gaslighting... Not a great fit for me.

@UNISONOurNHS It should be 5% on top of the £1400 for an 8a plus the non consolidated one off payment. As it stands this offer still represents a massive pay cut. It’s really not good enough Unison

Tories handing £250 million to private firms this morning for private hospital beds. It is fair to point out that the Tories closed 22,000 NHS Beds. Running the NHS down to justify handing your money to health profiteers.

I agree. And some real challenge from the opposition would help too.

If a price cap can raise energy bills by £3k per year that isn’t a cap. It serves no propose for millions of people who are being let down by those in power who refuse to take action. We are not being served by Govt we are being let down by forces in power. #CostOfGreedCrisis
