Remember the life of Ian Richard Olson, the 18-year-old young man who learned he was free of the lymphoma cancer he had been fighting for years. 8 years ago his life was taken away by pure evil. December 21, in 2018 Ian was shot in the back of the head, exactly one week after getting the cancer-free diagnosis (the cancer he fought for ten years and won) from doctors. Jeremiah Hannon (inset), who was in the midst of a "two-month crime spree," robbed Ian and shot him in the back of the head, because "he wanted to". Ian didn't deserve this, everything he dreamed about doing after his cancer-free diagnosis, gone forever is a marriage, a family, career... all ripped away from the Olsons because of Hannon. Remembering Ian isn't enough, laws need to be changed as Hannon gets out of prison next year on the 21st, just prior to his 25th birthday, to do it all over again... which is why I'm writing the post. The "too stupid to understand and the too young to understand" defenses need to be banned. If you're old and smart enough to pull the trigger on an innocent 18 year old — "because you just felt like it", you're old enough to be executed. RIP Ian Olson 💝
