Today the Sqn OC’s and Wing Staff attended the online North Region Conference organised by our very own @OC_SWYorksWing and Gp Cpt Leeming. A series of presentations were made by various specialists on the latest developments in the Region! A fantastic and very informative day!

We’re up and running! 1903 has been delivering virtual sessions for the past few weeks. This week we had Alex, a @Ryanair Captain, talk to cadets about how to become a commercial airline pilot. Great session, thanks to Alex for giving up his time

@MicrosoftTeams The @aircadets had our face to face weekly parade nights postponed at the start of the lockdown so we've been using Teams to connect with our cadets & ensure we can remain 'on parade'. Our @BaderSupport & @CadetPortal teams have worked tirelessly to make it happen 🙂

Tonight the team attended @RegComdtLASERs OC Wgs briefing to talk about the latest Cadet Portal developments and update on various other exciting projects in the works - great questions from the assembled Wg Cdrs! @ComdtAC @aircadets @BaderSupport

All BADER infrastructure maintenance is now complete and all BADER systems are back online. @ComdtAC @ACO_RCNORTH @aircadets

The maintenance was completed about 45 minutes ago - all back up and running now 👍

BADER infrastructure is undergoing essential systems maintenance this Sunday 3 May and will be offline from 0930 for approximately 6 hours. Access to SMS, Cadet Portal, Ultilearn, BADER Leanding site and AMS will all be unavailable. @ComdtAC @aircadets @ACO_RCNORTH

@CadetPortal It’s now showing this as an error message after other accounts were logged out of.

@CadetPortal How do we get around this error?

The disruption with Gov Notify has been resolved and normal service has resumed. This means that automated emails will send from the Bader applications (SMS, Cadet Portal etc). We apologise for any disruption this caused. @BaderSupport @ComdtAC @ACO_RCNORTH

To clarify, this will also prevent all email notifications from SMS too including audit alerts and event approval alerts.

We are aware that the GOV.UK Notify service is currently unavailable. Whilst this service is offline all Cadet Portal email notifications will not be sent. CFAV can read more about this on SharePoint at tinyurl.com/yagp2uvb

The @aircadets Command Board is meeting every Monday at the moment and @BaderSupport and the @CadetPortal Teams provide regular updates to @ACO_RCNORTH on how the platforms are being used on the ground to support CFAVs and cadets. @RAFGender #CadetForceResilience
