.@pmx_trade @top_jeet_ @alliance Any explanation on why payouts for prediction markets changed from .01 or .001 to "partial resolution"? Context: Bought 1.56k Mamdani yes, which apprently resolves to 1.08k USDC. not the 1.56k that you would expect from a prediction market. I have been off twitter for a while, if PMX just changed to a straight up rug pull I have not been informed I recommend no one use this shady platform for now. FYI: Their docs used to say markets resolve to .01 or .001 (based on liquidity raised) , now they changed it to some other bs (that i will not waste time figuring out) that lets them pay less

@CloakdDev I dont understand how it would work if the tx thats bought for conflicts with a tx sent by the jito block engine. But they advertise that validators running jito can just add on their software as an additional source of revenue

The only way future block space auctions would work is if every leader adapted the new client Alternatively all they are doing is running a queue off chain of transactions with durable nonce (otherwise capped at 30 seconds in the future) & just using a large staked connection to send the transaction at the correct time, but even that isn’t guaranteed inclusion as they still have to participate in the leaders block packing auction

The problem with AMMs are that you are forced to provide liquidity in the same manner for every single asset. If you would like to provide liquidity using a different formula, you need to build your own AMM. And forget about dynamically changing strategies. CLOBs will remain the default as long as AMMs stay inflexible

@Caizer0x @solana One was not censored, you just retried the txn. This is what RPCs do for you until the tx lands or the blockhash expires.

Found a really interesting bug in one of my @solana dapps. A rare event caused 2 transactions with identical values to be made within 200ms of each other. Same amount, source, mint, ata, everything. Including the blockhash because of the timing. So both transactions generated the exact same signature. So even though both were submitted, effectively one was censured. Crazy!
