We’re proud to be at the @NABEorg Conference this week, celebrating leaders in multilingual education. Congratulations to Martha Hernandez from @CalTog on her induction into the Multilingual Education Hall of Fame. We also recognize Shelly Spiegel-Coleman, who was inducted last year, for her continued leadership and advocacy for multilingual learners. PIQE Interim CEO and President, Dr. Ryan Alcantara, and Director of Family Engagement, Dr. Janet Nunez-Pineda, also had the opportunity to connect with civil rights leader Dolores Huerta during the conference. Moments like these are a reminder of the deep roots of advocacy behind the work we do and the ongoing commitment to equity and opportunity for multilingual students and families. Grateful to be in community with so many dedicated leaders and looking forward to the rest of the week ahead.
