Now the same Dapo who once begged for help acts like he’s bigger than the OGD, the man who lifted his hand and supported him to be governor. From humility to hubris… Naija politics no dey tire.

Desperate and helpless Dapo, ran to former Governor OGD (Gbenga Daniel). He lost ground in Central & West, but OGD went all out and delivered him victory from Ogun East.

Today, I picked up my nomination and expression of interest forms as I seek to return to the Nigerian Senate, continuing my efforts to provide effective and responsive representation for the people of Ogun East Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

@felabankolemoh @iyaboawokoya I'm glad Gov. Makinde didn't focus on all the sectors at once, putting the tourism sector last as the new area of focus at the tail-end if his administration is not a bad idea. This is a good one, it's long overdue, a timely decision I'd say. 👏👏

@Big_Highdee Because I’m not very sure, he was Atiku campaign DG for sometime and he is currently a serving senator. Meaning he spends all his time in Abuja.

OTUNBA ADEMORIN ALIU KUYE - NEXT AWUJALE? Who is the next Awujale of Ijebu-Ode, the Paramount Ruler of the great Ijebu Kingdom? Now, as you may have already guessed, let me confess upfront: I am neither an oracle commissioned to anoint a chosen heir, nor a kingmaker entrusted with casting sacred votes for a preferred prince. I am Enitan - a simple citizen of this country, yet a bona fide son of Ijebuland. And while I cannot impose my way, I cannot be denied my say, especially when Ijebu is my cradle and my heart. We have seen it - even in recent times - across several Yoruba kingdoms: when a great king joins his ancestors, his successor often emerges as a pale echo of the departed monarch. It is almost as if the last occupant was larger than life, stretching the throne so wide that it swallows the image of those who come after him. When a mighty iroko falls, the forest trembles; not every sapling can take its place. Without calling names - lest we ridicule newly crowned Obas - we have all heard the familiar whispers drifting through palaces and marketplaces alike: “If it were the former king, this would never have happened.” “They could never have spoken to the former king in that manner.” Why is this so? Because somehow - and for reasons not always obvious - we have perfected the art of replacing great kings with weak princes. Not all royal stools are created equal. A throne is not a chair; it is a burden carved from history. Some thrones, by pedigree, memory, and national relevance, demand more than royal blood. As our people warn, “It is not everyone born into a palace that can carry a crown.” For such thrones, lineage alone is insufficient currency. They must be occupied by men who along with their royal DNA have built stature before coronation - men whose shadows are already long before sunset. A man does not grow tall because he climbs a hill; he grows tall because his deeds lift him. Their presence must command reverence not by decree, but by the gravity of their private and public lives. To succeed Kabiyesi, Awujale Sikiru Kayode Adetona, who ruled with uncommon grace and lived a long life crowned with formidable achievement, we must tread with wisdom. When a great masquerade exits the square, only another well-costumed spirit should enter. This throne does not call for just any prince; it calls for a Prince seasoned by experience, tempered by leadership exposure, and tested by success in professional or political endeavour. For as the elders remind us, “The crown does not make the head wise; it is the wise head that gives the crown its shine.” So the question remains - and it must be asked without sentiment but with sincerity: Who is Otunba Ademorin Aliu Kuye? Shall I Begin?
