With Onagi elders drawn from Nairobi and the neighbouring counties, chatting way forward towards strengthening community's involvement in policy direction with a view of promoting national unity, inclusive governance & sustainable development.
The elders' initiated event underscored the need to streamline the socio-economic & political future of Nairobi.
Importantly, I want to reassure the elders & larger community of my true commitment to serve them diligently & faithfuly on the patron role they have bequeathed upon me.
Solidly moving forward💪💪💪

What happened to James Orengo in Seme was not strength. It was political intolerance exposed in broad daylight. A funeral in Kisumu turned into a hostile political battlefield simply because leaders within the same movement hold different views on the so-called broad-based government.
Contrast that with what happened weeks ago in Ol Kalou. William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua, despite fierce political rivalry, sat in the same funeral, addressed the people, and left without chaos. The community listened to both sides calmly. No madness. No humiliation. No political lynching.
That is political maturity.
The Kikuyu community understands one thing many leaders in Luo Nyanza are now forgetting: politics is not war. A leader is not silenced through intimidation. A disagreement is not solved by mobs. Mature communities protect order even when emotions are high.
Now look at the embarrassment in Seme:
“Orengo ejected.”
Leaders shouting at each other.
Funeral turned into a political arena.
National headlines describing disorder and shame.
And for what? Because leaders are debating whether ODM should remain in government arrangements? Since when did funerals become courts where political loyalty is tested through intimidation?
Gladys Wanga says the region is in the broad-based government. Ochilo Ayacko says ODM must remain united under Oburu Oginga. Fine. Let them argue politically. That is democracy. But reducing funerals into theatres of threats and humiliation makes the entire region look emotionally unstable and politically insecure.
The Luo community built its legacy on intellect, courage, debate, and resistance. Not mob intolerance. Not goon culture. Not screaming down leaders at funerals like a crowd that cannot handle opposing opinions.
A community that cannot tolerate internal disagreement without chaos becomes easy for politicians to manipulate. That is the painful truth many do not want to hear.

To the great people of Seme, I extend my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love and the heroic welcome you gave me today as I paid my final respects to the late Eliud Nyikal Okaka, father to my friend Hon. James Nyikal ( Mp Seme) at Ridore Primary School.
It is both shameful and a national disgrace that a solemn send off could be disrupted by the State and its luckys so rattled by the people’s unity that it resorted to unleashing goons. The situation became so tense that the clergy had to cut the service short, calling for an immediate burial without speeches to preserve order and dignity.
But let it be clearly understood; no amount of intimidation, no teargas, no hired chaos, and no acts of desperation will silence the Linda Mwananchi Movement.
Linda Mwananchi is a force of the people unstoppable, unshaken, and unwavering in its mission to defend and uplift the voice of every Kenyan.

This one will be the end of Kenya if you make a mistake and allow him to go for a second term.

As other countries get wary of France, Kenya is seeing the good in Paris’ bad. The two sides will jointly host the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi on May 11–12, 2026, marking the first time the meeting is held in a non-Francophone country. Read more: zurl.co/mnYbd

Ignore the rumors being pushed by UDA bloggers. James Orengo was not chased away from the funeral in Seme, Kisumu County.
What people saw instead was something very different. Ruth Odinga and Orengo were together, talking closely. That moment alone tells a bigger story. It shows there is still respect and communication between them.
Ruth Odinga has been very clear. She is not in the one term or two term camps. She says she stands with the Raila Odinga term, meaning unity and direction under Raila Odinga.
She has even taken action. She called Gladys Wanga during the negotiations and pushed for dialogue. Her message is simple, let leaders talk instead of fighting.
Ruth wants Orengo and Oburu Odinga to sit down and find a way forward. And not just that, she suggested that bishops from Luo Nyanza should be involved to guide the talks and bring trust.
This is not about division. It is about bringing people together.
The real story is not chaos. The real story is quiet efforts to unite Luo leaders and move forward as one.
