Yo @celtics, I bought these shoes in 2008 and I've kept them all these years. Not claiming it was because of the championship, but that will for sure be the reason I never get rid of them now. I bought the socks this year. Let's start a new tradition.

If you’re a believer in the 40-20 rule, only the Celtics, Cavaliers and Thunder hit the mark this season. The Grizzlies and Knicks losses on Sunday and the Nuggets loss on Saturday took them out of the mix.

How is have 3-4 guys in Jaylen Browns tier not a ridiculous amount of top end talent?? Sure JT right now is better than TD in 2014.

And acting like second team all-nba is a slight when the all nba voting and positions have changed drastically over the last ten years is a clear miss.

@Calebsams @MazzullaMauler Tony Parker was second team that year. Kawhi Leonard was not kawhi Leonard yet and Tim Duncan was no longer Tim Duncan. Jayson Tatum has been 1st team 3 years in a row, I’m sorry but it’s just not close unless you are dead set on downplaying the Celtics talent

@RedactedIguana @MazzullaMauler No one on this team is better than Tim Duncan (who was still earning all nba titles after 2014) Tony Parker (MVP candidate) and Manu were as good as these guys. They had a 22 year old, healthy Kawhi Leonard playing the role of Jrue with shooters and playmaker all over the roster.

The most impressive part of the Celtics’ first 2 games is how unflappable their defense has been against Luka. Luka’s had plenty of scoring flurries against single coverage + they refuse to adapt. They trust their coverage. It’s a major testament to the players + coaching staff.

14 wins is the easy part. Nothing we haven’t seen before The final 2 are the hardest to get
