@CriticalEDH I mean I guess. Do we really want to be turning tournaments into 1-0-6 top cuts? My point is that if everyone is playing NBC strategies, especially with SB bottomless tech, is games draw because people are afraid to push to win.

For the most part, in tournaments I will try to play the best strategy available (at least IMO) to win the tournament. If it’s NBC this or that so be it.

I should be more explicit about this. The reason Rhystic is such a problem is that I genuinely think 5 hours isn’t an unrealistic expectation for the additional time required to complete a tournament with 5 rounds+top 16 because of Rhystic.

Oops all Rhystic Study as an archetype was inevitable and is likely unsustainable.
The format is so cool and deckbuilding is the most interesting it's ever been you just have to contend with the optimal strategy being the worst play patterns imaginable.
