@CalgaryCoop I got an email today expressing the need to reset my app's password because it has undergone an update, which reads like a BS shady reason to me. Please explain why this was needed. The most usual reason for password resets are security breaches or vulnerability.

@charliehawkAB Hi there, thanks for supporting local! Our Best from the West program features over 2,400 Western Canadian–made products from local farmers, ranchers, and producers. Look for the green Best from the West tag in store to easily spot products from Western Canada, including Alberta.

I am actively looking for products with this @CalgaryCoop. I often skip made in canada because I want food products from my own back yard.

@FidaKfida Hi @FidaKfida, thank you for your question! We’ve confirmed with our vendor that all ground beef is tested for fat percentage before packaging and shipping. “Extra Lean” contains 10% fat or less, in line with current standards.

Hey @CalgaryCoop if this is “extra lean” what does full fat look like?

Cancelled my @CalgaryCoop membership today based on a recommended vote for @shandro . Based on his past behavior and AB Law Society issues, how can anyone recommend him for a Board of Directors? Very disappointed!

@DWanner60765 Thanks for the feedback, @DWanner60765! Our compostable bags are part of the federal single-use plastics ban, so we can no longer sell them individually. As an alternative, we now offer these as compost bin liners in packs of 5 or 10. We also encourage reusable bags for shopping.

@CalgaryCoop I visited the new Cochrane store yesterday for a few items. Asked to purchase a bag…teller said I had to buy 5…really? Kinda inconvenient when I only needed 1. I will just keep going to my regular stores in Cochrane where I can get 1 bag.

😡 There have been consumer complaints about misleading country-of-origin labeling at Calgary Co-op, particularly around produce and items where shelf signs or prominent labels of Canadian origin, but the actual product tags or fine print indicate "Product of USA." @CalgaryCoop
