@greta Greta, I don't think that competition is a problem if it serves to motivate improvement. Lean and efficient could mean more focus on topics/issues, accuracy/honesty and the agility to adapt to changing conditions. That, of course, requires leadership and management.

Management’s job is to manage. The problem in all tv is that it now competes with social media and podcasts … long gone are the days of just few news orgs so you must be lean and efficient
