I haven't posted as much in the last few days because it's been really, really crappy watching so-called 'feminists' attacking other women with medical diagnoses that disproportionately affect women. I have never mentioned it once in all my years on social media and hesitate to mention it now, but I have had fibromyalgia for 25 years. No, it isn't my entire 'identity'. It's just a condition I live with that some days leaves me in too much pain to get out of bed, and having people sneer about and dismiss it as 'made up' because it is something that mostly affects women really feels lousy, especially when those people claim to be advocates for women's rights.

A lot of advice to women is that we should just suck up the pain - boycott our sports, sacrifice our privacy from strange men, risk our safety, self exclude, 'compromise' our rights, etc - and just let the troons do what they want. I guess it's easier to tell us what we have to do when men behave badly towards us and against our interests, than it is to tell those men to leave women alone.
