Doha — Qatar's decision to withdraw US troops makes it the first Gulf country to do so
Qatar has officially announced the withdrawal of US military forces from the Gulf region, becoming the first Gulf state to do so. Qatar's Foreign Minister said his country had paid a heavy price for hosting foreign troops.
The Foreign Minister reiterated that determination while describing Qatar's relations with Iran as "brotherhood", and reaffirmed his determination that Qatari territory would never again be used to undermine those relations.
