@HannahMU31 @ChandrikaCC Reaching this audience comes much easier because of the simple image of a content child but gives a concise message in the tweet to grab a readers attention to potentially click on the link. This is a good example. I would maybe add a simple message on the image as well though.

@mhw4bc @ChandrikaCC Morgyn, this is a great example! Easy readability and concise messaging allows for most readers to understand the message efficiently. This message is great to share with not only adults, but to easily show kids to alleviate any anxieties.

@ChandrikaCC This image is from Red Cross of MO and is intended for the community immediately outside of the affected area. The message gives the audience action steps within a concise and clean graphic to stay safe and how they can actively lessen risks. #Audience #MUCrisisComm

@ChandrikaCC Both authors have applicable strategies for image repair, but I find Coombs to be more relevant & useful. Coombs discusses SCCT which breaks down levels of responsibility & reputation threats which can benefit orgs greatly amidst a crisis. #CrisisImage #MUCrisisComm

@Ann2bg @ChandrikaCC Credibility is very important and you made a case in why it’s most important in this specific instance. Gaining knowledge first and foremost to be credible is a very good point and you did a great job in explaining why this specific principle makes the most sense.

@WDNulty @ChandrikaCC Especially with chemical crises, being first in vital. This specific crisis is definitely time sensitive because it IS life or death. It’s really important to not forget the other principles when responding and you made a great point when recognizing that!
English

@ChandrikaCC During a chemical crisis, being first to address it is most important of the #CERCPrinciples because of the time-sensitive nature. Being empathetic, credible, and right is important, but being early is a life and death difference #MUCrisisComm abc7news.com/fremont-hazmat…

@tylerdefoe15 @ChandrikaCC While I didn’t choose stakeholder relations, I totally agree that their relationships within the org are very important. There’s a trickle down effect if there’s something that happens within the org that could harm an org in the future. A great point!
English

@ChandrikaCC out of Sandman’s four types of risk communication I choose Stakeholder relations. Working with all the people affected by your product is the most important thing to ensure future business. I have the ability to engage the crowd in a way they understand. #Reaction1

@HannahMU31 @ChandrikaCC I also chose PR! I love a challenge of captivating an audience even if it may be difficult and media is something that I find myself utilizing every single day. Being able to use it to spread a message for an org would be a challenge as well.
English

@ChandrikaCC Of Sandman’s 4 types of risk comm, I would choose to be in charge of PR. I like the mass media aspect of producing an orgs message within PR. Having prior experience in media would help me & trying to reach an apathetic audience would be a fun challenge #Reaction1

@EmilyMIZ22 @ChandrikaCC I agree with you that stakeholders are most relevant. Stakeholders are so important when looking at the longevity of an organization and emphasizing the importance of stakeholder relationships and supporting them through a crisis is vital.
