Thanks for playing! We are happy to see you noticed the team at IW recently fixed a longstanding bug that could be exploited to "crash lobbies" in DMZ, and we also put in some backend mitigations to make our servers stronger for both DMZ and MWII MP. We've got a few more changes in the coming weeks that will provide additional stability.

@CallofDutyCM Any truth in the rumors that you guys are moving server providers? A lot of MW2/DMZ enjoyers have noticed the game seems back to normal today in terms of packet burst/crashing

We've been following the feedback on this closely! The goal with Hot Pursuit was to give players a new experience and introduce mechanics similar to the OG version in Blackout, including Resurgence-style respawns. Black Ops Royale will come back but in the meantime jump into Hot Pursuit and keep providing your thoughts! We'll definitely take what we learn to evolve the core experience going forward.

@CODUpdates Black Ops Royale is the first mode I’ve got my IRL’s to grind since OG Verdansk. I hope it comes back quick!

@CptButcher @CODUpdates What might seem like a simple color change was actually part of a more complex limitation when we first introduced the Mark II in Black Ops 6. This limitation was overcome in Black Ops 7 and we made the change.

Jumping in here. We don't place accounts into limited matchmaking based on being tagged in social posts. That only happens if we detect suspicious activity in-game. It also doesn't mean that someone is a confirmed cheater. But you're right that something looking suspicious doesn't equal cheating. There are plenty of cases where we're tagged and players think that person has walls or aimbot but, surprise! They don't. -#TeamRICOCHET

this is where it gets dangerous. casual people thinking they understand what’s natural and unnatural. causing “ricochet” to false ban (shadow ban) handreds of accounts daily. Everyone’s brain set is if he was ready or just so happened to be lined up with me through a wall for a second he has to be cheating. he checked a corner he’s cheating. people get lucky, you get lucky. or said people could genuinely just be better. Cheaters are not the only ones ruining the game though I do agree they are the main problem.
