✝️Class 1 Remembers ✝️

Odd Sock Day. Today in Class 1, we have talked about how we are all unique and that the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. We have designed our own odd socks too. In a world where you can be anything, be kind 🌟☺️

Last week, we picked some apples and pears from our school orchard. So we decided to make an apple and pear crumble. We practiced finely chopping the fruit before topping it with oats. Enjoy! 🍎🍐😋

On Friday afternoon, we worked together to create an obstacle course and practice our balancing skills 👫⚖️

Last week, we had so much fun creating self portraits in the style of Andy Warhol 🎨🖼️

World Mental Health Day 2025! Today class one have worn yellow and created pictures of things that make them feel happy. If you do anything today, just share a smile ☺️💛⭐️

During independent learning time, the children enjoy sharing stories together, retelling the story of The Shopping Basket and developing our knowledge of one more one less. Super learning Class 1. 📖📝🖍️🧮

Mark making ✏️ Class 1 have enjoyed working collaboratively to make marks. Some beautiful patterns and marks have been made ⭐️

💭DREAM BIG DAY 2025💭KS1 have worked collaboratively to design their own food business. They had £10 from Miss Cutts and Mrs O’Neill to build their business. Lots of discussion, decisions and teamwork this week!

We have had so much fun learning about the wind and how it can change direction. Look at our wind socks, we are going to keep an eye out for the wind over the next few days 🍃🌈⛅️

☀️🎨We had a wonderful day @YSPsculpture yesterday exploring lots of sculptures. 🎨☀️

Thank you to all our parents and grandparents that joined us this morning for our Rocket Reach session. I’m a little unsure who had the most fun ☺️🪐🚀

Just before lunch, we took part in drop everything and read time. We really enjoyed reading books without any distractions. We are looking forward to the next one already @CalowEnglish 📕📖
