As someone who has mental heath conditions, therapy and medication are essential, but are greatly enhanced through faith. This is why I converted. Modern medicine and faith go hand in hand.

@ksorbs Unfortunately, the American people are not ready to have a serious conversation about mental health. The spiritual rot which foments this mental health crisis can't be medicated away, and will require faith with repentance before Him who is the Way, Truth, and Life of all men.

@AnglicanBeguine I wasn’t a Christian either when I was at my worst. I tried Buddhism and the Baha’i faith, didn’t work for me though. Too much works based righteousness that caused my anxiety to increase. Calvinism is a huge comfort.

@Calvinist50 it’s Southern Baptist, but I consider myself “confused Baptist” because there’s a lot I disagree with but I also disagree with a lot of other people
