@Coach_Yac The Giants need to give anyone other than Ryan Walker a chance at closing games for the Giants. He doesn't have the ability to thrive under intense pressure. He doesn't have "it".

@CavemanDanEYD @SFGiants Completely agree. I thought in the off season they should have signed Kenley Jansen. Still solid and would have been a cheap signing while locking down the 9th inning. We would have at least 1 bullpen arm that we could count on.

@OleTimeHardball Excellent career but not good enough for the Hall of Fame.

@VinnysCorner1 One of the greatest of all time vs King of Flop. It's not close, give me Larry Bird

@OleTimeHardball @keyman_2112 I'd take Eric Davis everyday and twice on Sundays.
English

@keyman_2112 Would you take Davis or Kiermaier for the entirety of their career?

@BaseballJeff1 I prefer Ramos hitting 2nd, and Chapman is not someone I want hitting higher than 5th
Luis Arraez -2B
Heliot Ramos - LF
Rafael Devers - DH
Willy Adames - SS
Matt Chapman - 3B
Jung Hoo Lee - RF
Casey Schmitt - 1B
Patrick Bailey - C
Harrison Bader - CF

@quakes1 this is great for him. He's not a fourth OF, he needs to play every day. If a team has a spot for him to play regularly, that would be fantastic.

@BaseballJeff1 Physically Jerar looks the part but what does he bring to the table? Low batting average, low OBP, high strikeouts, and mid teen homeruns. Matos defense is talked about a lot, but Jerar makes Matos look like a gold glover. Jerar is defensively challenged at 1b or in the OF

@susanslusser Am I correct that if Matos clears waivers (no other team claims him), the Giants could assign him to Sac?
English

(This would be a DFA, but he'd have to go through waivers *if* team can't trade him, which is tough this time of year)

And from me, a little news: Giants make bullpen cuts, - and they're expected to waive Luis Matos, clearing a path for OF Jared Oliva sfchronicle.com/sports/giants/… via @sfchronicle

@Mikehomeseller In my opinion Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country was the best, and Star Trek Wrath of Khan was a close 2nd

Is The Wrath of Khan the best Star Trek movie?

The Sting@TheStingisBack
William Shatner is 95 today! How could I not post something from Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (1982)? The Enterprise crew came roaring back and delivered one of the all-time great sequels, basically a submarine thriller in space. Shatner is brilliant here.
