OKC took a game off 2012 Bron, DWade and Bosh when KD and Russ were only 22-23 years old. Spurs struggling to get a game off a Jalen Brunson who’s shooting 35%, it’s not the same.

@lavar_mck @AndrewKSchlecht @BrandonRahbar He’s not saying the Spurs didn’t earn their way to the finals or that injuries aren’t part of the game, but saying that not having 2 of your top players would obviously make life easier for any opponent. Injuries happen every year. Doesn’t make his statement false.
English

@AndrewKSchlecht @BrandonRahbar Cmon man. I know you are an OKC fan but yall played Indy with Hali was hurt and tried to play in game 7 and got hurt in the 2nd quarter. Injuries happen

Imagine the Knicks having to play the Spurs without KAT and Bridges..... That's what the Thunder had to do. Would make the Spurs look a lot better.

@AndrewKSchlecht Why does this look like a totally different Spurs team

@nyknicks As a Thunder fan, I’m on the biggest Spurs hate watch of my life this series. LET’S GO KNICKS #AlwaysKnicks

All these “what does OKC do now?” clips and posts are nonsense.
JDub was healthy for 1 game.
Ajay Mitchell was healthy for 2 1/2 games.
That’s an All NBA player + a rising star. That’s all of OKC’s shot creation/ball handling/playmaking besides SGA.
One loss was in double OT.
Still came down to the final moments of Game 7.
Spurs are great. Gonna get better. That’s an issue for every team.
But OKC could just draft at #12, get healthy and roll the same squad back next year and be much better.
And it’ll still be a 2 team race at the top.
Big changes to a young championship team that was a few plays away from a return trip to the Finals without 2 of their top 5 players isn’t the move.

@username25350 @405Fan You have a much better shot at beating them with a healthy JDub and Ajay. Bad organizations are the ones that panic. OKC won’t and shouldn’t panic off of one series loss without your second best player and best bench player.
English

@405Fan He may not be at his peak but if they wanna beat the Spurs he gives them a much better chance than Chet

@HoopFocusX Left him completely wide open for 3 just to not rebound the airball

@AndrewKSchlecht It was but the spurs are at home so we ain’t getting that call
