The Rangers get manhandled by one of the worst pitchers in baseball while finishing hit-less in a 9-0 defeat to the Astros. Kumar Rocker hit the first batter of the game, and the Astros brought him home without producing a hit. In the bottom of the same frame, the Rangers would draw three walks, but their only two swings would induce a double-play & an inning-ending fly ball. That would be the extent of the offense for the Rangers until the seventh inning, where they drew a walk. The Astros padded their lead with a HR in the 4th, two runs in the 5th, and a five-spot, all coming with two outs in the 7th. Jack Leiter is on the bump for game two, which is set for 7:05 PM tomorrow.

I don’t know about yall but… I got a feeling TXST could win this thing. If they can beat USC on Friday I’d say they have a GREAT chance to win the whole thing. TXST owned A&M the Past 2 Years.

In my most recent Mock Draft, I had the Astros taking SP Hunter Dietz from Arkansas at #17 and OF Aiden Robbins from Texas at #28. I feel like it’s very realistic that both players are on the board at these respective spots. The question is, would YALL want to take them?
