It took more than 3 hours to extinguish a residential fire off Bonnie Lane last night, May 8. The garage was fully engulfed & flames spread to the attached home & shed. The residents evacuated safely with no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Thanks to @NCountyFireEMS for their support, and to the @RedCrossNW for helping the family with immediate needs. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but the homeowner believes it could have been a lithium-ion battery.

Incredible. Our community donated 2,001 pounds of food, $465 in cash, and $225 in gift cards during our four-day Santa run. We brought a literal ton of food to the Stanwood-Camano food bank today. We are so grateful to our community for their generosity.
