@SowoodWi @WIhour 3.5 years. Huge waiting list so must be doing something right! Age range 29 - 82!

@SowoodWi @WIhour w-e-l-l...we have 200members, but never had more than 135 turn up! It's a challenge and a lot of work but enjoyable

@WIhour But most popular are 'hand on' sessions: making bird boxes, sugar craft; framed butterflies (not real!); flowers in a jam jar etc

Exciting news- @Lucy_Worsley 'Cake Bakers and Trouble Makers: Lucy Worsley's 100 years of the WI' starts at 9pm on Monday 20th July on BBC2!

@CottonopolisWI Lovely lady fishmonger bought table of ice with all the fish, explained sustainability, where it all comes from,how to cook

@CottonopolisWI Butcher bought in a side of pork and one of lamb, told us what the cuts were, how to use them and then cut them all up!
