Apparently, @awscloud can no longer afford, from their record profits, sponsor income and exhibitor fees, to buy lunch for @AWSEvents #AWSLondonSummit attendees, many of whom have (like me) given up a day's pay or consultancy fees to attend. (1/2)

Since about 90%+ of sessions are monomaniacally devoted to AI, which is a sideshow for almost all my @adeptium clients and @CambridgeAWS User Group members, I don't think I'll bother next year. @awscloud: be better. You're losing your core market.

@colmmacc Also: ice-grip overshoes, extra layers of clothing (all areas), a full charge or tank of fuel at all times, a trapper hat, scarf, spare gloves, phone charger, lots of high energy food, plus water and energy drinks. I carry this in England in winter, let alone Seattle!
