@IronBirdsDJ O's won a game on a base hit by Danys Baez in extras... I saw that one with my own eyes and couldn't believe it. I also saw Strasburg hit one against the O's and saw Tommy Milone homer in his first major league at bat for the Nats. #LetPitchersHit

State of the Orioles' rotation: Trevor Rogers — 5.77 ERA Kyle Bradish — 4.83 ERA Shane Baz — 5.48 ERA Chris Bassitt — 5.21 ERA Brandon Young — 4.15 ERA Orioles starting pitchers have a combined 5.19 ERA this season. That ranks 29th in MLB. Only the Rockies (5.22 ERA) are worse.

In honor of @nsherry2’s retirement, it’s about time I share a story. Gonna be a thread so bear with me.
I worked on the O’s tarp crew in 2012. I was a dumb 17-year-old high school senior who didn’t realize the importance of the job itself. I just thought it was cool as hell.

@levineps @CamdenFanatic I’d imagine the busiest part of her job is before the season so the more I thought about it now is probably the best time for her to leave. She’s done it 20 years and the season is a grind, the hours are awful. Probably just wanted something different.
