@noahkagan ChatGPT is doo doo. It forces context from 18 months ago upon the most basic queries that have nothing to do with what we discussed 18 months ago

Claude is dead. Long live ChatGPT (again!). Kinda feels like Claude got overloaded. Went back to using ChatGPT again this week and surprised how much better it's gotten. What's everyone else noticing?

@c_dawg311 @KoYasEphraimite Wedging yourself between First Presidency-correlated programs for the Youth, for opinion's sake, is not necessarily a good position to put oneself in.

The best thing we could do to revitalize YW isn't in branding or structure. It is the radical idea to be honest with these young women & tell them we want them to reject the world's ideas & embrace the Lord's. It is to tell them that the best thing they can become is a wife & mother. Then to use these programs to show them how to be competent & prepared for it. There is no accomplishment, including missionary service that compares to the accomplishment of a righteous home wherein the next generation perpetuates discipleship. If we were bold about this, regardless of how much it may upset certain women of this generation, we could see our entire youth programs reinvigorated with purpose, regardless of names.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints@Ch_JesusChrist

The First Presidency has announced new age-group names for young women—names that reflect their identity, growth, and purpose. The new age-group names are: • Builders of Faith (young women turning 12 or 13) • Messengers of Hope (young women turning 14 or 15) • Gatherers of Light (young women turning 16 or older) Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman said the spiritual significance of the names became especially clear to her during a recent visit with young women in Tahiti. “As the girls sang, I was inspired to think of these covenant-keeping young women whose purpose and mission would be to build faith, share hope, and gather and reflect light around the world,” President Freeman said. “My eyes teared up as I realized the Spirit had been leading this process all along, inspiring names of faith, hope, and light that would help God’s daughters live as disciples of Christ and prepare them to enter a lifelong sisterhood of charity—the Relief Society.” Learn more by visiting the link below: newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/young-…

@KoYasEphraimite With all respect, you don’t have stewardship or responsibility over the naming conventions or programs of the Church. And yes you are being critical, you think your ideas are superior and dismissing the work that went into this which ultimately got first presidency approval

I just cannot believe many steer away from a cup of coffee and turn to energy drinks which are far worse for you. But keep living in the 1800s and keep getting health advice from old men.

On April 10, U.S. Navy divers were the first on the scene as the Navy and NASA successfully recovered the Orion spacecraft and its crew in the Pacific Ocean, bringing four astronauts safely back to Earth after their journey beyond the Moon.

@gabriel__xyz 1) you're in the newborn phase and in a sleep deficit. Allow for some grace here. 2) energy and "time" will become more focused as a new normal sets in Mornings are sacred, before anyone gets up. I had to switch from burning the midnight oil to getting to bed early.

@jaredadairbell Meanwhile in Provo. 3-4 solid testimonies then a loaded academically charged framing exercise leaving the congregation exhausted confused and gaslit.

My experience at the San Jose del Cabo 2nd Ward: We entered the building and the Aaronic Priesthood holders are there to greet and welcome everybody. Clean-cut young men. We take our seats. We’re greeted by a nice lady who tells us our children our beautiful and asks where we’re visiting from (She mentioned how Governor Cox visited here about a month ago (apparently he served his mission here (not relevant))). She then tells me I look like a missionary cause I have that charm. We get started with the opening hymn “Te damos Señor nuestras gracias (We thank Thee O God for a Prophet).” We take the bread and that water. Then I remembered, after giving my daughter a granola bar, that today is fast and Sunday. Testimonies from the Latinos are usually always interesting. And today was definitely the case. The Counselor shares his testimony, it was beautiful. A pure testimony of the core tenets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before he finishes, two women go up. As they bore their testimonies, 4 more go up. And so on and so forth. People flowing up. Each person going up wastes no time. There is no fluff. No time where someone wasn’t going up to share their testimony. And—this is the interesting part—EVERY PERSON bore pure testimony of the teachings and doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No fluff. They all bore testimony of - the Gospel of Jesus Christ - temples and their importance - families being together forever - The Book of Mormon being another testament of Jesus Christ—that it’s the most correct book on earth - Joseph Smith was a prophet of God - Dallin H Oaks is a prophet of God - the ordinances we have are true and of God - we are part of the gathering and are blessed and privileged to be part of building up the kingdom of God - Jesus Chris is our Redeemer, the “Great Healer that heals all” ALL OF THEM testified so simply and beautifully those things among other core doctrinal tenets of the Church. Eventually, the counselor had to stand up and tell everyone that the remaining members on the stand will be able to share their testimony, but that’ll be all. My parents—who frequently go to that ward, but don’t understand anything—asked me how was sacrament and what I thought. I told them that ward is the closest to Zion I’ve ever been. I told them they should move their records to this ward because theirs a good chance it’ll be lifted into heaven. Completely united in their faith in Christ, His Church, His holy scriptures, His prophets, His temples, His gospel, and the blessing that flow from it all. 10/10 experience
