Camp Ponderosa

So my body is achy from the exertion and from being the training dummy for more than a few locks and strikes and kicks (thanks mostly to @boilerman09 who also played mine) but my soul is full and contented. ESPECIALLY if you live in a dysfunctional blue state, take a class here.

Tonight after this sunset, we saw a beautiful cross fox who has been making himself a regular visitor to the camp. There are campfires most every night, and whiskey and cigars have been known to appear. The birds sing here about 19 hours a day in the summer.

If you take one of these classes, you can come back and take it again free, ad infinitum, because Joe wants you to be able to get the practice reps in. I consider this an excellent excuse to come back to the striking beauty of Montana’s Swan Valley and stay at @CampPndrsa.

We have 14 bicyclists from the Banff to Mexico ride here tonight. They were THRILLED to find air conditioning, refrigerators, and showers in the middle of the wilderness. Also, SSgt Thor, the official camp greeter, was a hit and he got ALL the belly scratches.

Come and train here. These classes are super fun, and could save your life or someone else’s some day. The facility is nestled in the national forests of Montana, and it’s beautiful here.
