@SOLRanger34 I agree. There is hope. But there were also probably 2-3 Prius owners gassing up and 2/3 of the charging stations were full at that truckstop. We have a long road brother

At a light. Guy pulls up to my left in a decked out 2026 super duty pulling a brand new Tigre wake boat. Probably in his 30's. Probably owes the bank over $200k between the two rigs. Minimum. What a choad. I don't feel sorry for the poor bastard. Pull into the gas station. Kid pulls up to the pump next to me in a 1995 Ford F250 super duty. Extended cab. Long bed. 7.2 Turbo diesel. Dude is probably barely 20. Pretty girl in the passenger seat. I strike up a conversation. He found an old guy selling the truck. Original owner. 80k original miles. Mint. The old timer let it go to him for $8k. Cash. I asked him what inspired him to buy that truck. He said- "all these new trucks are pieces of shit." This young man has no idea how much hope he just gave me for the future.

Oregon has one of the shortest school years in the nation. Just over the river in Vancouver, the average K-12 student receives one year more of instructional time than students in our state. A recent poll showed that 80% of Oregonians support requiring local school districts to provide at least the national average of school days. Your kids deserve a world-class education, and on Day One I will work to increase classroom time and give teachers the resources they need so that all Oregon students and teachers can be successful.

Thanks first and foremost for the prayers. I’ll ask one last time for a share on this. The butcher bill is due. $9k for the lawyer and a civil compromise. I had to borrow over half that from family. Thankfully my employer stood behind me. @DolioJ @HeloProcurement @wayofftheres @Brushbeater

Trust your instincts. If you think we're headed for civil war, you are absolutely right. I know that sounds unimaginable to some people, but history shows us that we're on the same course many nations have been on before that ended that way - more specifically, the Spanish Civil War. Yet the time to wonder how such a thing could happen is not when there are already bodies in the streets, empty shelves at the grocer, or hospitals overflowing with casualties. The time is now. You are on the precipice, dangling over the edge, looking down at a generations long war of attrition with your fellow man. How did we get here? Let us continue to use history as our guide. Shortly before the outbreak of civil war in Spain, Cardinal Segura of Toledo wrote perhaps the most important letter to come from the Church at that time. Heed his words. "If we remain quiet and idle, if we allow ourselves to give way to apathy and timidity; if we leave open the way to those who are attempting to destroy religion, or if we expect the benevolence of our enemies to secure the triumph of our ideals, we shall have no right to lament when bitter reality shows us that we had victory in our hands yet knew not how to fight like intrepid warriors prepared to succumb gloriously.' His letter rings as true today as it did almost 100 years ago. The scathing criticism of Spain's passive inaction in the face of the the new Republic's secular policies would lead to the destruction of the Church if not stopped then, and it will do the same now. So what can be done in the face of such evil and imminent destruction? How can we face such impossible odds? Let the life of Nehemiah be an inspiration for the church to break from it's over-spiritualization of the battle it's in, and to deal with the very real and physical threat it faces. "From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates: and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah. Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon." I love that line. Their load in one hand and a weapon in the other. It's time for the Christian man to do the same. You've got enemies? Good. Face them, and enjoy the opportunity to spend your life in a worthy cause and to preserve the Bride of Christ; his Church.

‘Young barbarians of today! Enter and sack the decadent civilization of this unhappy country! Destroy its temples, finish off its gods, tear the veil from its novices and raise them up to be mothers! Fight, kill and die!" Alejandro Lerroux, Former Prime Minister of Spain, Radical Republican Party. There is perhaps no more clear and concise quote showing the ideology of the Spanish Civil War communists as well as the pre-war conditions within Spain's government than this one. The man in charge of the entire country, a Freemason of course, giving future historians a perfect picture of what they did then and intend to do now to your nation. Look closer at what exactly these men are saying. "Young men of savage and uncivilized nature, destroy this nation from within. You are unhappy being here, after all. So that gives you permission to deconstruct this place. Remove God from his place in society, and take this country's young women, remove their innocence and make them indoctrinate their youth for our cause." Among the President were men like Miguel Maura, who was the Minister of the Interior, responsible for the maintenance of order in the country. He himself claimed to be "catholic", but further reading shows he was the son of Don Antonio Maura, a prominent (you know the ethnicity) communist and the leading conservative statesman of King Alfonso. If this civil war's history starts feeling like a page out of the Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism by Augustin Barruel, that's most certainly because the playbook is the same and the characters haven't changed. "Communism is the scavenger of decaying civilizations", to quote Bishop Fulton Sheen, and he offers the solution to such a problem as well. "Down with churches. Down with teachers. Down with governments. Can you build anything down!? You cannot! It is certainly time in our nation to change our words. Let's begin now to use the word up. Up from all of this filth! Up to the hid battlements of eternity! Up, up to God!" Of all the revolutions that destroyed the monarchy and implemented liberal democracy, the chrysalis to communism, there is only one solution and it's the simple inverse of that first speech. "Young Christians of today! Defend and rebuild this precious country of your ancestors! Repair its churches, restore the sacred images of God. Protect the innocent and raise them in the paths of righteousness. Fight, kill and die!"

The whole vote-by-mail thing: Prior to the 2020 election, there were effectively two reasons allowed for it, and relatively speaking, extremely few people used it: 1. Absentee voting (you're on vacation, etc. Ignoring for the moment places like California, which allows "Permanent Absentee" status) 2. Military voting. The rationale for (very hurriedly) rushing out vote-by-mail nationwide was the US lockdown. It was supposed to be a temporary measure, supposedly in response to a purported deadly worldwide pandemic, so elections could occur on time. That was 2020. It's 2026. Why do we still have it? Why does anyone still want it? I think we all know the answer to that.

While we're on the topic of fraud, someone needs to look into the explosion of diagnoses for ADD, ADHD, and other "on the spectrum" BS, and take all these fragile 20-somethings of the Social Security and Medicaid payments they file for once they get diagnosed.

“‘Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’ Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers. Behold, you fast only to quarrel and to fight and to hit with a wicked fist. Fasting like yours this day will not make your voice to be heard on high. Is such the fast that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord? “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday. And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.” Isaiah 58:3-12

Thinking about fasting as we head into 2026? Don’t just skip meals. Study the Scriptures first. Biblical fasting isn’t a detox. It’s not a flex. And it’s definitely not a hunger strike to twist God’s arm. It’s a weapon. And it comes with instructions. Before, during, and after a fast—these passages matter: – Luke 4:1–4 Fasting trains your dependence on God, not food. You learn—deep in your bones—that man does not live by bread alone. – Mark 1:12–13 Jesus fasted before stepping into spiritual battle and public ministry. Fasting sharpens discernment and prepares you for what’s next. – Matthew 6:16–18 If you’re fasting to be seen, you already got your reward—and it’s empty. Real fasting is quiet, humble, and God-focused. – Isaiah 58:6–11 God makes this brutally clear: A true fast isn’t just about abstaining from food… It’s about aligning your life with His heart—obedience, justice, mercy, and freedom. Fasting doesn’t make God hear you louder. It makes you listen better. As 2026 approaches, maybe the question isn’t “Should I fast?” But “Am I willing to be changed by it?”

An absolute crisis. Congress NEEDS to act. For months, I’ve been working night & day to try to bring Republicans and Democrats together to save college sports. If we fail to do so, it will be an utter tragedy. And it’s happening right before our eyes.

I just don’t see how the current college football landscape is sustainable Iowa State had been a solid program for years Now? They have 17 players remaining on the roster for next year, only 1 returning starter It’s impossible to compete like this
