The contracts have been signed for the first small modular reactors here in the UK. Delivering energy security and thousands of good jobs. All part of our golden age of new nuclear power 👇

@LawrenceLocke6 @SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Anyway, now you’ve entered the chat I shall leave you both to it. I had you blocked on my other account for relentless trolling, and I’ve no need of that on here either. Best of luck to both of you for the future, unfortunately you’re going to need it whichever party you support.

@LawrenceLocke6 @SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Everybody understands them Lawrence, but like a lot of people you want to conflate migration with asylum seeking. Maybe you’ve never had a relative need long term care. Most of our care workers are migrants. Those policies will make sure our aging population gets cared for.

It was always absurd to use helium — a finite, irreplaceable resource — for party balloons. Now, as shortages bite, we will start to see real consequences: delays in MRI scans, constrained medical supply, & rising costs… ban the ridiculous waste of this precious element.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Nope. Hence the word ‘managed’ & the recognition that open borders are not possible atm. There was an interesting radio programme on this just the other day, how people who don’t read books struggle with reading comprehension & inference. Maybe we should dumb down the manifesto.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Is unfettered immigration viable currently? No of course not. Is it going to become a bigger problem, as the climate worsens? Yes. Should we still work towards better global governance in bringing down barriers to trade & work movement, yes, because we’ll need to.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris The policy isn’t open borders Steve, thats just poor reading comprehension. “The Green Party wants to see a world without borders, but until this happens the Green Party will implement a fair and humane system of managed immigration where people can move if they wish to do so”

@DawnBossCat Because the animal still dies in terror either way. You want to pretend the animals you eat are grateful to be killed?? Its a joke. If you cared about them at all you wouldn’t eat them & neither would any religious person.

Yet you say nothing about halal slaughter. Don`t tell me all muslims are vegetarians, that would be an outright LIE.
Kirsty@CampaignChorus

@DawnBossCat @ExposedGreens We do care about all aspects of animal cruelty, thats exactly why so many of us don’t eat them & choose not to have them killed for us at all. Thats where our values lie, in changing our own behaviours to cause least harm.

@58paulb @ExposedGreens @blaiklockBP You might want to fact check that, we always had higher animal welfare standards even when we were in the EU, you can go higher, you just can’t go lower.

🚨Green voters are frothing at the mouth to BAN the Grand National over “animal cruelty”. But mention banning halal or kosher slaughter where animals are killed while fully conscious and they suddenly scream “Islamophobia!” The Green Party hates Britain. #GreensExposed

@AnnCampbel57325 @ExposedGreens I don’t mind you hating us, (though I wonder why you do) but its good that we can agree on the cruelty of horse racing. The footage of that poor horse breaking its back & being forced to the finish line just to be shot was horrific.

@ExposedGreens I'm not a Green voter. Can't abide them. I'm against those methods of slaughter. I'm mostly vegetarian. But I've always been against house racing and dog racing, especially the Grand National. So many horses die.

@ExposedGreens I detest the Greens , absolutely loathe them ! But they're right about this. A cruel, outdated, morbid spectacle that is way past it's sell by date. No animal should be exploited for the pleasure of Humans.

@DawnBossCat @ExposedGreens Perhaps you can explain why so many Reform voters claim to love animals but still happily eat their babies day in day out?

@ExposedGreens Not at all, I’m a green voter and would happily ban all forms of slaughter. No animal wants to die, its all cruel, I just don’t see the distinction.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Yes, ice ages are a natural phenomena, natural climate & solar cycles are extremely well known. Thats one of the reasons we know we’ve kicked ourselves out of the natural cycle, we should be in a cooling phase again now, & instead are rapidly warming the planet.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris I’m not a fan, I’ve no idea who he is & I’m not really interested in economics. I’ve a science background and a landowner managing land for biodiversity, hence being very very sure that we can mitigate the climate situation we have caused. Perfectly possible.

@CampaignChorus @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris I’m sure there’s lots but if you are a big fan of Murphy I can’t really take your ideas seriously. Ah yeah of course it is a theory. Climate is always changing and there is not much we can do to control it. Especially not with a population rising 9 billion.

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Its OK, he’s not the only one to critique it, still just a theory in invented by humans like all economic systems. The climate & biodiversity crisis is not a theory unfortunately. I very much wish it was.

@CampaignChorus @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris Ah Richard Murphy, the economist who couldn’t even see inflation coming after the Covid lockdown! He’s totally clueless and useless. Debunked by most rational people. The climate and biodiversity crisis is a theory too you don’t have to subscribe to either. 1/2

@SteveButler82 @FPLTachanka @MrTCHarris So you genuinely believe that burning millions upon millions of years worth of stored solar energy in the form of fossil fuels in mere decades would have zero consequences? Does that sound like any kind of physics you ever learnt at school?
