Few types of losses worse than the ones that let weirdos who default to blaming the manager think they’re right. But ideally you’re not 5 games under .500 and the stakes aren’t so high. (The bunt was bad. Not letting the lefty kid in his MLB debut face Judge, however, was fine.)

@danelvis1 Decisions fall on the MANAGER. That's how it works and to take a kid out that was doing well was just weak imo. I CAN blame John because he keeps doing dumb stuff, I think he read a baseball strategy book for 1st graders and he pulls this stuff 5 days a week, expect better.

Blaming Schneider for bringing in Yariel is such a cop-out. He'd performed effectively enough his first couple of times out. Tough scenario facing Judge but 2 outs uo two, Judge could only make it closer. Yariel just flat out stunk.

2 things are true. Vladdy has been legitimately brutal, he’s in the worst slump of his life. But that doesn’t make him “not worth the contract” he’s a star, a franchise player. If you think he’ll have 8 homers and a .725 ops at seasons end, you are a special kind of stupid.

sad & strange seeing so much hostility within the fanbase right now. yes, this has been a frustrating stretch for the team, but i think people need some perspective. it’s may. so much can happen in a season. i’d rather my team play their best baseball late. i’m choosing to be patient
