@MichelleLA1981 Your claim is nonsense. Trump’s tariffs and threats precipitated the trade conflict; Canada’s retaliatory measures were a response, not its cause. Blaming Carney for actions initiated in Washington is political revisionism, not serious analysis.

Oh come on... Modern slavery is a very real and serious issue in parts of the world. Canada is not one of them. Exploiting it as a fig leaf to defend indiscriminate tariffs mocks the moral gravity of forced labour, and undermines important global efforts to combat it. Must everything be subordinated to the tariff obsession, even the plight of the world's most vulnerable?

The sheer scale of government overreach and bureaucratic encumbrance introduced by the UCP into the daily lives of Albertans is, by any reasonable measure, extraordinary. #abpoli

Alberta’s rural-based Transportation Minister—aligned with Trumpian populism & separatism—squanders our resources on performative bike lane histrionics. The good news is that Edmonton & Calgary electors have the numbers to dismantle this ineptitude & hold the UCP to account.

@DaBossGuy Under Section 96 of the Constitution, the federal government holds the exclusive power to appoint superior & district judges. Provinces cannot legally strip Ottawa of this authority without a major constitutional amendment, making the judicial question on the ballot symbolic

@DaBossGuy Under Section 95 of the Constitution Act, 1867, immigration is a shared jurisdiction, but federal law ultimately overrules provincial law. Attempting to enforce unilateral limits or require a separate "Alberta-approved status" would trigger immediate constitutional battles

Despite Danielle Smith prioritizing her relationship with the Trump Administration, they just announced 50% tariffs on Canadian exports. Albertans are paying the price while she puts her political interests first. cbc.ca/news/world/tru…

Scoop! For years, Albertans have been led to believe that "Your Province, Your Premier" doesn't cost taxpayers a dime. It does. To the tune of almost $10,000 a month! #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

The UCP's bike lane "complaint" portal is not just a tacky political stunt, it is yet another sign of the disdain the rural-based UCP has for urban Albertans, and the cities we call home. If we don't want bike lanes as part of our transportation network, we will vote accordingly.

@DevinDVote You are perpetuating disinformation. The claim that City Hall "bulldozed" bike lanes without giving citizens a voice is false. Calgary’s bike infrastructure was one of the most heavily scrutinized, debated, & extensively monitored infrastructure projects in the city's history

@canuck_93259 In reality, international students subsidize the HE system, allowing universities to keep domestic tuition lower & maintain spots for domestic students despite provincial funding cuts. No, the federal government does not subsidize tuition or expenses of international students

@RinneSatom3000 An independent Alberta cannot pass laws that apply to Canada. A sovereign nation has no legal jurisdiction over the citizens, government, or treasury of another sovereign nation.
