Transforming Cancer Support in Kent and Medway Email: [email protected]

A great moment today as Emma from our Oncology Dept becomes the 5,000th person to get the Covid vaccine at our centre! 😱 ... that’s right, FIVE THOUSAND! 🎉 So proud to also continue helping friends from @SECAmbulance @kmptnhs @NHSKentCHFT & other partners. 💙 #KentTogether

What if palliative care was known as the Quality of Life team? And everyone struggling with symptoms , be it breathless from Covid, chronic pain or dying was referred to them - to get a better quality of life in hospital?

🌡 Temperature checks ↔️ Distanced waiting areas 👋 Sanitisation stations 💻 Virtual appointments ➕ Much more! If you’re attending hospital for cancer treatment, watch our video to see what changes we’ve made to keep you safe. 💙 youtu.be/tq-GW0mLm7A

@MikeMoranMBE @ProfKarolSikora We struggle to reach men - there’s still more to do re: raising awareness. We have an online men’s support and advice group for those undergoing surgery and it would be great if we could let all men know we exist (Facebook won’t allow us to advertise). Breast cancer isn’t pink
