Kooth continue to offer support to young people between the ages 11 & 24. Know a young person who is struggling with not seeing their friends for #NewYear this year? Kooth can help to provide them with some support. #MentalHealth | #Kent

'Quality of Life' definitely says what it does on the tin & reflects the care & compassion all of our palliative care team here @MTWnhs offer. Maybe it would also make it easier for many to talk about death & dying more easily too.
Dr Liz O'Riordan@Liz_ORiordan

What if palliative care was known as the Quality of Life team? And everyone struggling with symptoms , be it breathless from Covid, chronic pain or dying was referred to them - to get a better quality of life in hospital?

An unexplained pain that lasts three weeks or more could be a sign of cancer. It’s probably nothing serious, but finding cancer early makes it more treatable. Your NHS is here to see you, safely. nhs.uk/cancersymptoms

This is a really important message to all men which I am happy to amplify and signpost to @mastectomynet

@MikeMoranMBE @ProfKarolSikora We struggle to reach men - there’s still more to do re: raising awareness. We have an online men’s support and advice group for those undergoing surgery and it would be great if we could let all men know we exist (Facebook won’t allow us to advertise).
