Our PBIS Team turned our gym into a Winter Wonderland ❄️! Students that demonstrated positive growth 📈on Winter MAP were celebrated @ our Growth party. We had life size Jinga, Connect 4️⃣, 🏀⛹️‍♂️⛹🏽‍♀️, indoor ⚽️, 🎶🪩, and more! Celebrate student achievement 😃. I 💙🧡@DeKalbSchools

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winner & proud mom 😀! He is our first grade 06 student to win the 🐝 in our school’s history 🏆! Our runner up was also a strong contender! Congratulations 🎉. Thank you also to our media specialist @sheliabell for organizing. #I💙🧡 DCSD.

Great to meet Martin Luther King III and wife Mrs. Arndrea Waters King. It was such a special moment as we celebrated my niece’s 1️⃣st birthday 🎂. She is named for my mom @swhwalker who transitioned a little over a year ago. @TheKingCenter

True collaboration at Chamblee Middle 🏫. Our instructional team joined their team for planning to observe REAP- Review, Examine, Analyze & Explain. We looked deeply at standards in all 4️⃣ content areas and made suggestions on supporting Ss w/ next steps. 💙🧡@DeKalbSchools

Our shout outs have tripled 😀. Staff complete an anonymous Google sheet & our Parent Liaison & Registrar turn weekly notes into cards. One staff member gave me 💐🌸 for helping to brighten her day with the shout outs. I’m thankful for @Carolina_Girl96 for sharing this tip!!

Our paths crossed a number of times along our leadership journeys- & now I’m elated @Dr_Douglas_CGHS has returned @DeKalbSchools as Principal of Cedar Grove High School! It was great to meet today on how our Division will support his transition & school’s success. Go, Saints!
