Ethan is immune to Vox's electric shocks, perhaps they feel more like pleasant vibrations. in turn, the electric current Ethan shoots through his tail works like a vibe when used on Vox (Vox wrapping his wires around Ethan's tail to guide it exactly where he wants it to be)

@CandySignal666 I think he really took Alastor's "There's no friends in Hell, Vincent!" to heart. The Vee's are obviously friends / family but Vox is too scared to use that label. "Business Partners" is safer in his mind. He doesn't want to have his heart broken again.

CRT Vox was just as evil, murderous & ruthless as modern Vox, but he had a huge soft spot for Alastor and showed him a sweet side. it's similar nowadays with the Vees, yet it feels like Vox is still more guarded than back then. he cherishes Val & Vel a lot, but he's more careful

but it feels like a Herculean task bordering on masochism to love Vox, because Vox runs towards the future while looking back, talks about Alastor like a man possessed (like Vox is a secondhand item branded by its previous owner, a used goods TV set that Val tries to make his)
