Indiana high school basketball is pretty special. Borden and Eastern (Pekin) are only 6 miles away from each other. One playing in the 1A state championship, the other in 2A. Borden gave Eastern fans red towels and Eastern gave Borden fan purple towels. Cool stuff!! #ihsaa

I never met Wes Rucker but felt like I knew him. He was my go-to for in-game analysis when I couldn’t get to a TV to watch the Vols and sometimes even while I was watching. He was thorough and honest in reporting what he was seeing on the court or on the field—good or bad. He was also very open about his love and devotion to his family. I’m praying for all of them.

BREAKING NEWS: Police say a woman fired shots this morning inside Baptist Hospital in St. Matthews. They say she still has the gun but is unable to get out of her hospital bed/room. No injuries reported. Our Chris Sutter is headed to the scene to learn more.

R.I.P. John Shirreffs, trainer of 2005 @KentuckyDerby winner Giacomo. Also, saddled Hall of Fame mare Zenyatta to a second place finish in 2010 Breeders' Cup Classic and Baeza to a third place finish in last year's Derby @ChurchillDowns. A true horseman and class act. He was 80.

@andersons0911 Louisville has far too many roads to plow all of them. Our taxes would be through the roof if we paid for enough equipment to plow all streets during our rare big snows. I believe the city spent $1M on salt alone for the last storm.

@CandyceClifft I wonder what the folks think about their tax dollars and no snow plowing in their neighborhoods. In Southern Indiana we do have our neighborhoods plowed. Usually last but they are plowed.
