This post is for the women (and men!) who let me gossip and laugh and share about all the Royals. My mother was my person who I would always call or visit to watch wedding and share gossip and speculation. It was our thing. When she passed that void was huge to me. IN fact I literally told her tales from the headlines as she passed away. All of you have helped to fill that void she left and I know she would have loved all of you. Thank you to all of you. I don't have a problem with traditional wives. I respect any woman who puts her family first. I simply don't believe that traditional values require a facade of perfection in order to be achieved. This picture is lovely. Your hair is gorgeous, but it is meant to stand for a reality that can't exist. This was posed. Your dress was chosen and your body positioned in order to sell an image. No different than that of powerhouse woman who can have it all. No life is perfect. You can be traditional, but don't lie. Show the bad days with the good. Show yourself with a ratted ponytail after being up for sixteen hours with spit up on your clothes while worrying about laundry. The people in the comments keep talking about beauty and light. I wish you all that, but this isn't real. It's curated for public consumption to allow you to get validation for the life you've chosen. But that is just my opinion.
