@ElVerdeRican @sxsw All trains are equipped with automated passenger counters that count each person as they get on/off regardless of whether their pass is scanned. ^HH

@CapMetroATX @sxsw How do they know that? Took the train today any nobody scanned my ticket on the way downtown around 1:30PM. This happens all the time. Fares are only scanned sometime, who know why. With that kind of inconsistency CapMetro will never have accurate ridership numbers for MetroRail

Early ridership reports are showing an increase of over 7.5K customers on Rail and over 3K customers on bus for the @sxsw weekend (Thurs-Sun). We love helping event-goers move through the city with ease. 🚌🎶💙 #SXSW
