Crazy to think that DCUO and SWTOR outlasted the Destiny (FPS MMO) franchise.

I gotta say, as much as I love bright colored sneakers, I truly have underestimated the benefits od pure black sneakers.

Let me make this very clear: If you keep calling ANY giant robot a "Gundam" I will call ANY video game console you owe, a "Nintendo".

The Stop Killing Games campaign just had one of its biggest moments in the European Parliament. During a debate in Strasbourg, many Members of the European Parliament spoke in support of better consumer rights for video games. Most speakers agreed that companies should not be able to shut down games that people had already paid for. Support came from several political groups, including the Greens, Renew Europe, S&D, The Left, and even some EPP members Many MEPs said games should be treated more like products than temporary online services. They argued that buyers should not lose access just because a company ends support or shifts players to a newer title. Some MEPs criticized the European Commission for not taking stronger action. There are concerns it may issue only a non-binding statement instead of new laws. The debate showed that Stop Killing Games is now being taken seriously at the highest political level in Europe. The discussion is no longer only about gaming but also about digital ownership, consumer rights, and companies’ obligations after purchase.

@Wario64 Thanks to all Destiny fans for surrendering your hard earned money to Bungie. They will not be returning any old content back to you but at least they'll keep the lights on for you, so when you feel nostalgic, you can return to the grave and view the tombstones.

The decline of Favreau and Filoni’s corner of Star Wars has been surreal to watch. It technically started with S2 of The Mandalorian, but no one noticed over the cameo fest. Every story since, from Book of Boba Fett onward, has been a creative clusterfuck.

They don’t keep bringing it up because they love the moment. They keep bringing it up because it’s the thing you recognise. They could bring up so many other moments, but they just bring up this one. It’s marketing

Valve has asked the court to throw out the New York Attorney General’s lawsuit, citing Pokémon cards, Happy Meals, and Labubus, accusing the company of illegal gambling through Counter-Strike weapon skin “cases.” The lawsuit claims these mystery “cases” in Counter-Strike 2 and CS:GO let players, including kids, gamble real money by paying for a chance at rare virtual items In a 42-page filing on May 19, Valve says the “cases” do not count as gambling under New York law because players always get a random weapon skin for the money they pay, just like buying sealed packs of baseball cards, Pokémon cards, or the toy in a cereal box. The company says there is no “stake” or chance of losing money, as it is just the surprise element common in collectibles. Valve warns that the Attorney General’s idea could make normal activities illegal, such as parents buying trading cards for their kids or families playing arcade games. The filing notes that these loot boxes have been sold for over ten years without objection from any other U.S. state. Valve wants the court to dismiss the whole case “with prejudice.” If denied, the lawsuit seeks triple damages on billions of dollars Valve made, plus an order to stop sales to New York residents.

Seriously, geek apparel and accessories designers: Learn what "Power level" means, and apply it to your merchandise. "Loud and obvious" makes it look more like only (man)children wear that.
